"When assigned a security contract in an abandoned hotel, feckless Justin Lynch (Jamie Chambers) unwittingly incurs the wrath of the demonic entity that resides within the halls of the ancient Carriage House Hotel. With the arrival of his thrill seeking girlfriend, Heilig (Leona Clarke) their sins begin to rack up, and when effervescent paranormal investigator, Miles (Ray Whelan) joins the group, his intrusive tamperings unleash hell on the trio. As the group venture deeper into the heart of the old hotel, reality pushes further away. One by one, they begin to crack, and are thrust headlong into a maelstrom of hell and confusion, pitted against one another at the amusement of their demonic hosts.
You are cordially invited to Carriage House Hotel, where torment awaits the audacious and demonic retribution lies behind every freshly opened door."

DB Morgan’s love letter to the classic paranormal horror genre. With a deep love of surrealist horror, DB Morgan hails horror classics such as HP Lovecraft’s ‘In the mouth of Madness’, David Cronenberg’s ‘Videodrome’, and the recent found footage franchise, The Vicious Brother’s ‘Grave Encounters’ as inspiration to his horror style. Masters of dark and delicious works of art that revel in the discombobulated to flip expectations and seep confusion and anxiety into a willing audience.
‘The Haunting of Room Sixteen’: ‘The Shining’ meets ‘The Entity’, meets ‘Paranormal Activity’. A film riddled with misdirection and time loops, beckoning the viewer only to leave them wrung dry and confused come the final credits. This is ‘DB’ Morgan’s love letter to paranormal horror purists, and the masters of the genre he so admires.
According to Variety: “…horror is on a hot streak, and diverse millennials may be to thank for the surge in ticket sales and online consumption. The average age of horror audiences is younger than the overall movie going crowd (27% younger for paranormal).
Paranormal Horror movies on NETFLIX are extremely popular, as they are on the majority of major online streaming platforms. Just check out this list of the most popular paranormal horror movies on IMDB to be assured on the ongoing rabid popularity of this genre niche.
Horror fans are fiercely loyal. 44% of paranormal horror fans go to the movies more than 12 times a year. Action horror films skew toward a more male audience, while paranormal horror films are more evenly distributed between genders. Horror fans are most likely to seek out DVD’s and VHS copies of movies, together with being avid memorabilia collectors and champions of an honest movie, regardless of budget or familiar faces.
There has never been a better time to release a paranormal horror movie as, with our collective emergence from Covid-19, there is an ever growing thirst, and deficit to demand, for engaging horror genre films, both in cinemas and online.
